For I am the LORD your God, who takes hold of your right hand and tells you:
Do not fear, I will help you. New American Standard Bible
“For I am the LORD your God, who upholds your right hand,
Who says to you, ‘Do not fear, I will help you.’
Isaiah 41:13 (NKJV)
Amid reports of chaos and social unrest, the hotline for suicide prevention has shot up exponentially, as well as mental health clinics. This coupled by facts of “preventative medical check-ups” and “elective surgeries” all being put off, due to the growing fear and anxiety from the pandemic.
There isn’t much we can do to offset a pandemic, other than to flatten it. Wash your hands, don’t touch your face. Wear a mask. Keep social distancing. Respect one another and show compassion for one another. That we CAN do. But when it comes to eradicating the virus, that would be up to God. He alone gives the wisdom to those seeking to formulate a vaccine. He alone controls when and if the virus disappears from the face of the earth. And He alone is the One that will bestow an abundance of His provisions in which we need spiritually. God elicits our spiritual growth which in turn, spills over unto other aspects including emotional, physical and well being overall.
When we become spiritually in tune with the LORD we are able to be prolific, through Christ, as we face the world of “giants.” Like David going to kill Goliath. He knew God was with him…and so his defense was God, which no man-made weapon can ever defeat!
So, as we face the world…look up and know He is with us, through the harshest days. Know He is with us as we climb the mountain from the deepest valley. Know He is with us as we navigate the roads of chaos, and know He is with us, helping us “leap over” all the hurdles thrust in our path.
For He is the LORD thy GOD, and with Him, nothing is impossible. With Man its impossible, but with GOD, all things are possible.
I can’t speak for anyone reading this, but I’ll say this. Personally, I know when standing on the precipice of uncertainty, God will help me jump over to safety, each and every time!
“Father God, thank You for Your unwavering love and dedication to helping Your children prosper, and for being there in good times and bad, and for shining Your light into the darkness, I thank You Father, now and always, in Jesus Christ name, Amen.”
‘Now see that I, even I, am He,
And there is no God besides Me;
I kill and I make alive;
I wound and I heal;
Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.
Deuteronomy 32:39 (NKJV)
