DEAR GOD: Words to Live By~

I will say of the Lord,

He is my refuge and my fortress:

my God; in him will I trust.

Psalm 91:2 (KJV)

The LORD is our hope and refuge in all that we do.

I had to undergo various medical tests the past several weeks, and through each one…the LORD brought me peace and provided strength, while listening to my “prayers” all the while, never leaving me.

His Word is what I live by.

His Word is what I breathe by.

His Word is what I believe gets me through it all.

His Word is what ultimately provided all that I need and more.

And finally, His grace, His enduring and unconditional love that soothes me and covers me like a soothing balm, for this and so much more, I give thanks, and praise and love…forever more.

Do you know the Greatest One of all?

Do you have any idea who He is?

Do you realize the depth and magnitude of His power?

Have you met Him?

May I invite you to open His Book of love, and get to know Him?  I guarantee that it’ll be the best thing that could ever happen to you.

Go on, pick it up, and really begin to live and love!

“Father of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and Creator of the Universe, and of all things big and small, thank You for Your grace, Your love, Your patience, and Your guidance, in all that I do, and undergo, I love You, and thank You, now and always, in Jesus Christ’ precious name, Amen.”

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11 The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

Psalm 46 (KJV)
