DEAR GOD: Trust Trust & More Trust~

Proverbs 3:5-8 (KJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Proverbs 3:5-8 is one of the first verses I had ever memorized.

The second was Psalm 23, and the third was Isaiah 40:8.

Of course so many more came forth that have stayed rooted in my mind, heart, and soul; but the Bible overall, is a deep part of my spiritual foundation that I owe all the Lord.

The LORD knocked, I opened by heart and followed Him ever since.  And, that is pretty much my whole entire life, Amen.

Going with Proverbs, trusting in God,  is essentially the basis of our existence in order to thrive. Yes, to be successful in life we must fully surrender to the LORD and trust Him completely.   To trust is the counter part to LOVING Him fully and completely, because when we love Him without thought or worry, we are indeed, or in fact trusting Him.

When Jesus was asked,  in Matthew 22:36-40;  “ Master, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said unto him, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.”

Jesus’ response tells us that love and trust go hand-in-hand, and loving God is like balm for one’s soul.

He is resourceful, compassionate, diligent and mindful to our desires and needs, and His provisions are endless.

We cannot out give or love more than He can.  But, we can please Him by loving Him and trusting Him and walking the narrow path.

The LORD spoke in Deuteronomy 6:5-9:  “ You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand and they shall be as frontals on your forehead. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates…”  Again love goes hand-in-hand with trust, does it not?

Fear not, be of good cheer, have courage for the Lord your God goes before you and is in control 24 hours a day,  7 days a week, and He hasn’t had a single day off since time began!  Now if that doesn’t make you reach for His love and trust Him fully and completely… I don’t know what else could ever possibly make you cognizant of Him and all He is.

Of course,  Jesus Christ died for us!  Now that is LOVE that surpasses anything forever and always! (John 3:16)

Reach for His Word, talk with Him, love Him, and surrender to Him fully and completely, and then watch how your life becomes clear and vivid, instead of abysmal, abstract and opaque.

Don’t you want to experience love in the purest form?

Get to know our Father, the Great One, the Sovereign One, and the Lord of lords,  and King of kings, your life will never be the same again!

“Father God, I trust You fully, completely ,and totally, may I always remember to give You all the glory, and honor, and praise You endlessly all the days of my life, thank You for Your love, in Jesus name, Amen.”

This was moving and I pray it blesses those who read it and that those who don’t know God will get to know Him better.
    Amen
