DEAR GOD: Refreshed by You and Your Word~

“For they have refreshed my spirit and yours:

therefore acknowledge ye them that are such.”

1 Corinthians 16:18 KJV

Are you weary?

Are you tired?

Are you drained?

Sometimes life can be just so exhausting.

Whether we have events or circumstances that are “stifling us” or engaging us into a full time battle with people or incidents that can be draining on us physically, emotionally, and spiritually… isn’t it great to know we can be “refreshed by God?”

God calls us to “cast our burdens on Him for He cares for us” and He wants us to know that we can “take on His yoke for it is light and easy” and He also said, “ask the Father anything in my name and it will be yours.”

These Words, and promises are what keeps all of us going, as followers of Christ.  As faith driven people we must go to the Word in all times.  That is to say, good times, bad times, and all in between times.

God loves us…and wants us to prosper, “For I know the plans I have for you” His plans are good and peaceful. He doesn’t want us to be down trodden and miserable.  Yes, we will go through trials, and events that He deems necessary, and there will be reasons for it, but He will never leave us while riding those rough waves.

Our life consists of seconds, minutes, days, weeks, months and years…and throughout our lifetime we will face Giants (as David did!) and we will face sad times, and there will be hopefully be plenty of good times, but God will see us through it all. (1 Cor 10:13) – For there isn’t anything we are going through that others before us, or after us have not been through as well, and God will never give us more than we can handle, and will always show us a way out…Amen!

Pause reflect, and love Him unconditionally. Place Him first in your life and watch what happens to you physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  Breathe in and feel His presence…and ask for a fresh touch, and what a powerful touch indeed!

UNITED PRAYER:

“Father God, thank You for all You do, all You are, and all You continue to be, all glory and praise and honor be Yours, now and always, Amen.”

REFLECTIVE THOUGHTS:

“When things get sticky and you feel as if you’re stuck in a quagmire of desolation, look up and know that God is with you and is there to take over, surrender yourself to Him in all ways, and He will take you through it all. God loves us, and wants us with Him now, and always. Ask for His guidance, open your heart and soul to Him, and trust in Him with all that you are, and get ready for His refreshing touch that will rain over you offering peace, and love…”
