Be still, and know that I am God… (Psalm 46:10)

Sometimes we just have to pause and reflect before we go forward. It’s an exercise of obedience that can be exceedingly difficult in this flurried world of extemporaneous activities and schedules. Or, simply put, it can be challenging to say the least.

The outer turmoil of the world can be troubling bringing a host of issues to land at your front door. But, that doesn’t mean we have to open the door to let it in. This is when it becomes crucial to recognize the need to “wait, listen, and trust” that God will take care of it. His supernatural powers along with His overpowering love will lay claim to what’s swirling around in our paths.

He not only will bring about a satisfying solution according to our needs- He will draw us closer to Him in the process. His inordinate amount of patienceis only secondary to His awesome ability to protect us with His limitless love. His voice can be heard in the loudest place and the quietest…” be still and know that I am God” – a powerful verse with equally powerful and substantial results.

“Father God, help us to listen for Your voice through good times and bad, and to remember that You are in control at all times in our lives as we surrender to Your will, in Jesus name, Amen.”
