Watching a peaceful scene, such as a deer grazing in an open field is rewarding in so many ways. The obvious one that comes to mind is “God made this lovely creature” and the second thought would be, “and He cares for this little precious thing, so how much more does He care for us?”
The Lord is our lifeline, our breathing apparatus, and our whole reason for existence. He– the sole creator of the Universe, and all things, big and small, He made us from scratch, and we are who we are because of Him.
In Hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began… (Titus 1:2)
Before we were even born, God was reconciled to His promises for His children. He offers us eternal reward, and salvation. We can breather easier as we go through life, although sometimes a perilous course…however, knowing that He will ultimately bring home His promise of eternal life, makes it so much easier to get through it. His love, His wisdom, and His strength, get us through any hardship, and will make us that much stronger when we come through it. His unsurpassed magnificence, and compassionate nature, is apparent through His mercy and grace, toward us… His children.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world passes away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides for ever. (1 John 2:15 KJV)
Things of the world, are insignificant, compared to the eternal reward of being in paradise with the Father. We live life, according to His will and purposes, and as we become more involved with His word, and His commandments, we find the things of the world, less entertaining. Superficial gains reap superficial reward. It becomes easier to turn from shallow practices, and easier to shine our light as we conform and become more refined in His image. Eternal rewards…
…You have come to a judge (the God of all people) and to the spirits of people who have God’s approval and have gained eternal life. 24 You have come to Jesus, who brings the new promise from God, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better message than Abel’s. (Hebrews 12:23-24 KJV)
Through the Lord, Jesus Christ, we have been saved, and forgiven. We, can breathe, our life line is in place, and our actions are being noted. We will sow what we reap, and harvest time is not far off. But, the incredible feeling of peace, along with the promise of God’s Word, is beyond description. It is more a feeling that supercedes any elaboration process, for words fail to incorporate the reverberating happiness that resonates within your soul, when you have an intimate relationship with God.
The feeling of bliss and internal peace begins and ends with God. His word, His love and His promise of eternal life speaks directly to our hearts.
Can you hear His voice???
Listen, be still and “know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10 KJV)
…You have come to a judge (the God of all people) and to the spirits of people who have God’s approval and have gained eternal life. 24 You have come to Jesus, who brings the new promise from God, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better message than Abel’s. (Hebrews 12:23-24 KJV)
Christ has given us the promise of eternal life. (John 2:25 KJV)
Loved this whole post of trusting God and His promises. He is our lifeline and everything in between. Praise His name. Hallelujah!
The Lord is everything and more. Yes, Love Him, Praise Him, and explore His word, and get to know Him even more. He wants our love, remember, “He came looking for us, and loved us before we were in our mother’s womb.” Amen
God Bless~
Hi C.D.
I love this site… It breathes your intimate love of our Lord Jesus. The pictures you choose to use, the edifying words that you write when you answer the post’s of others who write you as well as the way that you talk to God Himself. Your love for all who touch your life is a breath of fresh air. Your life is truly an example of walking by the Spirit and not the flesh. I have enjoyed getting to know you through your beautiful and inspirational writings on FW and some of the comments you have made on my pieces as well. You definitely have the gift of encouragement. I just had to write when I “clicked” and found this lovely site. I will definitely be back. I also am really drawn to the colors on this site, it is so peaceful!
Hello Alicia,
Thank you so much for your kind words, you are so sweet.
I’ve enjoyed all of your pieces on Faithwriters as well. Your gift of writing is evident in your words and style.
God is amazing in how He chooses to use us, each one with different gifts. But, no matter what He chooses to gift us with, to Him be all the glory, honor and praise. It is to His heart we write, and when it touches others hearts, it is His spirit shining through, Praise the Lord.
Please come by again, and I look forward to all of your future entries, and post.
God Bless you my friend in Christ~
Reading your post today……
Made me want to share what God show me,
Of what Eternal Life really means…that we may KNOW HIM…..
As the only true God, A true relationship with God as ONE~!
John 17:1-3 (KJV)
1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven,
And said, Father, the hour is come;
Glorify thy Son, That thy Son also may glorify thee:
2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh,
That he should give eternal life to as many As thou hast given him.
3 And this is life eternal, ~!!!!!!!!!!
That they might know thee the only true God,
And Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 17:20-23 (KJV)
20 Neither pray I for these alone,
But for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me,
And I in thee, that they also may be one in us:
That the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;
That they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
And that the world may know that thou hast sent me,
And hast loved them, As thou hast loved me.

God hungers for fellowship with His children,
A true love relationship with him~!!!!
Apostle Paul cried out – that I may know him.
Philippians 3:10-14 (KJV)
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection,
And the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do,
Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
