The light of the world, God’s only begotten Son was delivered by Mary…so He could deliver us.”
Christ-mas. The very word implies all that Christ represents: Purity, love, kindness, compassion, truth, sincerity, strength, understanding, grace, mercy, the beautiful Lamb who came to deliver us from our sins. Why? To grant us eternal life while undergoing the ultimate sacrifice, His life so that we may LIVE. His resurrection which thereby defeated death…meant our shackles and bondage would be gone. Our belief in the Son, set us FREE.
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32 NKJV
By having faith in Jesus we are free. The decorations, the merriment, the buzz of excitement in the world as the day draws near, the expectations…all point to Christ. Our Amazing Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.
So as we walk, talk, visit families and friends, and we reflect on our blessings, remember the biggest blessing of all…Christ and His ultimate act of LOVE. His ultimate gift to us…Freedom, love and eternal life.
We walk in the light of His love…and let our light so shine in the world as we go forward in His name.
Merry Christmas~

Glory To God In The Highest
Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For There is born to you the day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And, this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths lying in a manger.” And, suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and Saying : “Glory to God in the highest, And, on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”
Luke 2:8-14 NKJV
