Peace Will Guard Your Heart~
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6 KJV)
A fresh year and fresh start going forward into the New Year, but how many of us will have peace which is beyond understanding?
The realities of life can be daunting in all aspects, and the burdens we bear can be suffocating, but God will lighten our load, light up our paths, and sustain us with peace, which surpasses all else, bringing clarity, and joy into our darkest moments.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful (Colossians 3:15 KJV).
When we absorb and obey His word, which is to say, “His voice”–we are walking in accordance to His purpose for us in this lifetime. The reward of being a follower, and on intimate terms with God, is an area in which we should all strive, as the rewards are gratifying in both body and spirit. The intangibles are really within our grasp, as are the inherent promises of our Father, who provides in this lifetime and the next…the encompassing peace of eternity.
Father, Your words are as balm to my soul, and joy to my ears. Thank You for the grace of Your peace and Your love…In Jesus name I thank You, Amen & Amen.
