Your Faithfulness is Everlasting –by C D Swanson~

I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever:
with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. (Psalm 89:1)

God’s faithfulness, it is forever. The same yesterday, today and forever. We should always recall His promises and His passages in the Holy Bible…which essentially is His voice.

He shall supply all our needs according to His riches, and He will give us just what we’re in need of, and He knows what we need before we even have need of it. He knows our mind, our heart…and loves us under every circumstance. He hears our thoughts, He created us.  He knew us before we were in our mother’s womb. He was there for our first breath, and will be there for our last…before He calls us home for eternal bliss.

Philippians 4:19 says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

God in His faithfulness is spectacular and overwhelming.

God in His love for us is beyond the scope of understanding, but is valued more than we can say.  He is faithful and with us through all we do and say. He hears our heart and listens for our cries seeking His face.

Many, O Lord my God, are Thy wonderful works which Thou hast done; and Thy thoughts which are directed toward us, they cannot be reckoned up in order unto Thee. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.  (Psalms 40:1)

In other words, there is none like Him…no comparison. The worth of the Lord and His immense mercy is magnified through His actions toward us. He loves us, unconditionally. His arms are always open for us to take shelter in.

Our Lord has performed so many wonders for us, and His plans for us are endless and therefore too numerous to list. God has no equal, and if we were to sit and write of how amazing He is…we’d never find enough words to bring to fruition the magnificence of who He is.

“O’ Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them…”

His faithfulness is never ending. We need to proclaim and “verbalize” of His glory and His love. We are those who shall speak of Him through the generations, His name be praised and His glory proclaimed as we lift and exalt Him daily.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Hebrews 13:8).

The same today and always.  He is unchanging in a very “changeable world.”  Where values can disintegrate and promises might not yield results.  Jesus Christ, is the same…and His values and promises will always yield results.

God’s word when we speak it…will not return to Him void. It will garner explicit results and countless rewards.

God loves us.  He doesn’t love sin.  But, He loves us. So, if we wander or slip…or fall short. He will still love us. We need to go to Him and speak from our heart. And, He will be there and caress us with His love and acceptance…as He forgives us, once again.    His faithfulness unchanging.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (1 John 1:9)

No matter what we might be going through, and no matter how dark it gets;  He is with us always.  He sees, He knows, He is there, always.

He is our “go to” for everything in life. He is the “go to” for help and for comfort…and for joy.  He is there for us in trouble and in good times.  Remaining steadfast in His love and faithfulness.

Our faithful God is on the throne and in control.

Seek His face… He loves us more than anyone  possibly could.

As we proclaim His glory and lift up His holy name, remember His faithfulness.

God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble  (Psalm 46:1)

They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:23)

Dear God: In Perfect Peace~

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.  (Isaiah 26:3 KJV)

A person whose desire rests on YouYou preserve in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.  When we set our hearts, mind and our entire existence in seeking His will and absorbing and embracing His word, we are in a state of peace.

When we keep ourselves embroiled in His word we become steadfast in His ways and thereby alter our paths of life…for the better.  God will uphold and provide all things we need, while protecting us within the cleft of the Rock…firmly entrenched in His word, laws and ways.

His Omnipotent and dazzling presence will fortify our ways and become to us as air is to our lungs..which is to say..Life in abundance.  To paraphrase our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from John 10:10 — “…I come to bring you life, and more abundantly than before.”

He became the propitiation for our sin so that whomever shall believe will have eternal life.  While here on earth, in our flesh bodies, we have work to do…His work, and it is His work and for Him that we live, and therefore ultimately thrive.

The results?  Perfect peace…tranquility…endless grace and purpose to life which perpetuates His love.

God’s loving hands guide us as we navigate the water. Irrespective of how rough the waters may become, it is by His word and His strength that we become confident in whatever it is we may face. It is not because WE do it…it is because HE does it.  He is the Captain of our boat, as we take the wheel, His hands guide ours through whatever we have to go through. And, He will bring us through it all.

Isaiah 58:11 – And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

There isn’t anything that God cannot do. Nothing is impossible with God, instead all things are possible. Impossible with man, but all things possible with God.

PEACE…GOD’s PERFECT PEACE.  Do you know what that is?

Pick up His love letter to us…the Bible…and experience first hand the enormous rewards of loving Him, obeying Him…and getting to know Him.

His voice calls to us…do you hear Him?

Dear God: I Know Your Plans For Me~

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. Jeremiah 29:11-12 (KJV)

For I know the plans I have for you—this is the Lord’s declaration—plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.  You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  Jeremiah 29:11-12 (HCSB)

***

God hurts when we hurt. He cries when we cry. He aches when we ache. Why? He loves us, and wants the best for us.

***

We go through adversity and sometimes those of faith will ask, “Why is this happening? Why am I going through this?”   God is a faithful Father and will not desert us. He is with us through everything we do. And, He never gives us more than we can handle,(temptations and/or trials)  and He will always give us a way out of it.

***

And, what we go through isn’t uncommon to mankind, it will eventually touch our brethren as it states in clearly states in  1 Cor 10:13 (KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

***

Why does God allow it? Well, we have choices in life and sometimes our choices aren’t good ones. And, there is definitely evil in this world, but God will protect us from it when we follow Him diligently and with all of our might, heart and soul.

***

Sometimes God allows things to happen  in order for us to become immersed with His Spirit and to grow in our faith.

***

Reknown Pastor Charles Stanley said it well with the following comment as stated below:

…”Although we can’t see all the specifics of God’s plan, we know that His goal is to use our adversity to supply something we lack so we can be mature and complete. Even though the experience is painful, rest in the Father’s comforting arms, and let Him do His perfect work in you…”

***

God sees and knows all. He is the first and the last, the Alpha and Omega, there is no beginning and no end. He is in control, at all times. And, keep in mind…His thoughts and ways are not our thoughts and ways. He is beyond our scope of understanding in terms of the dimension in which He is.

***

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.  (Isaiah 55:8-9 KJV)

***

Accept His plans to help us prosper.  Remember  as we endure our trials and temptations that He will guide us, lead us, touch us…and bring us to a fuller understanding of His plan as we keep our eyes on heaven and not of things in this world.

***

Until next time, remember to keep looking up for all of your answers…

Amen~
