Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed [that] thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.  1 Samuel 2:30

******

Honor our Father! He will always make a way for His children. He is so worthy of our honor and praise. He is ever faithful and always keeps His promises to those who meet the conditions attached to His promises, as stipulated throughout His word. I have made a covenant with My chosen, I have sworn unto David My servant. (Psalm 89:3)

******

There is no one who can compare to our Father, and that is why He deserves our honor every single day of our lives. His unblemished character is central of His purity and boundless love.  He is the Great “I AM I AM” and the only One that will never let us down.  He is on the throne and in control, His mercy unrelenting and uncompromised and His arms are ever outstretched to us. Justice and judgment are the habitation of Thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before Thy face.(Psalm 89:14)

******

God always takes care of His children. Talk with Him, go to Him for all things, big and small. He hears us, and He always takes care of business.  His infinite wisdom lends itself to our reasoning and guidance when we consult and honor Him. It won’t make any difference who you are. God doesn’t show favoritism to His children. God is always just and fair…His light brilliant and pristine.

Merely watching the news today can bring about anxiety for so many. Everyone seems to be like Chicken Little waiting for the sky to fall. Don’t be shaken by the turn of events…because we are on the ROCK. Fear doesn’t and shouldn’t drive those of strong faith, because in perfect love there is NO FEAR.  God didn’t create a spirit of fear, but one of power, and love and strong mind.( 2 Timothy 1:7)

******

To glorify is to honor.  Our father is to be honored and admired. How do we honor our Father?  We honor our Father by our actions and service to Him today…right now and always.

******

Honor God by bearing your fruit. Honor God by being a witness for His glory. Honor God in all that you do. Honor God by lifting His name on high. Honor God by exalting His awesome ways. The rewards and the love in which your Father will reciprocate are beyond description.  We can’t outgive, or love deeper than that of Our heavenly Father.  Open your hearts love and honor Him, your life will be changed forever, and that is a promise you can count on…

For we were bought by a mighty price. Therefore Glory God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.   1 Corinthians 6:20

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.    1 Corinthians 10:31

Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:    Proverbs 3:9

Lord God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto Thee? Or to thy faithfulness round about Thee? Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, Thou stillest them.  (Psalm 89:8-9)

Prayers Are Heard and Work~

By C D SWANSON

Ah Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee (Jeremiah 32:17 KJV)

 ******

Sometimes even the most devout Christian will be plagued with self-doubt or worries. There may be certain circumstances that’ll crop up in which we’ll become riddled with anxiety. However, it’s how we “handle” the scenario that’ll make the difference.

How amazing is our God?

******

We know we “can’t” do it alone; we need help from the Father. For nothing is impossible or too big for Him. Our God is bigger than any of our problems. When we go to Him in supplication and prayer, He’ll respond. Prayers are answered, especially intercessory uniformed prayers. The smoke rises straight up to the heavens. Our God reigns on heaven and earth. He’s the power before the path in which we walk.  While praying, focus on His greatness…our problems will diminish substantially. When we pray, we should reflect on His sovereign magnitude. Give praise to His umblemished character of love, compassion, and mercy.  Shout in joyful union to the One and Only God.  He will always be here for His children and never desert us.

How amazing is our God?

******

Entire families in the Bible came together in prayer, in fact prayer had a central and crucial part in the early churches; And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:42 KJV).  God wants to involve others in praying. Sometimes it might be what we’re praying for, or a different outcome, but most important, it’ll be according to His perfect timing. He might ask us to take a step of faith. He uses any opportunity to strengthen our faith and trust in Him. Prayer brings us into God’s presence so we can receive strength and direction for life’s challenges. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, trust Him… and be still and know He is God.

How amazing is our God? Well, give Him a try and see for yourself…

Dear God: We Trust You & Look Up~

Trust Him and Look Up~

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:4 KVJ)

To have peace is to be content and fulfilled in ways that only the Lord can accomplish…this will happen when we trust Him implicitly for all aspects of our lives. To live in a state of tranquility—irrespective of controversial monstrosities that encroach upon us—is to trust Him which brings an inner peace that only God can grant.

When we trust anything other than God and His word we’re inviting disaster into our lives. When we depend upon Him for everything—He will direct all of our paths. (Proverbs 3:5) Of course we have free will, that’s a given…but going outside the “will of God” can result in repercussions that will become glaringly apparent in time.

To trust God is a surrendering of self in a deeply profound sense. It’s the ability to immerse ourselves in His word and meditate on His will for our purpose in life. We all have a purpose, each one different, and each a separate time table. Our inherent goal as followers of Christ is to walk by the spirit, while avoiding “things of the world” that can inhibit our spiritual growth.  When we thwart the existence of His light we ultimately give invitation to things resulting in disaster.

We’ll fall short many times in our lives, but the good news is God is longstanding, and His mercy endures forever. When we trust and consult Him for all things we’ll walk the path of righteousness and mirror His reflection. Trust Him and begin to live for Him, I promise your cup will overflow.

Dear God: We Hear You Loud & Clear~

Jesus our Shepherd

Behold, I stand at the door and I knock: if any man hear my voice , and open the door, I will come into him and I will sup with him, and he with me. (Rev. 3:20 KJV)

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. (John 10:27 )

******

Listen…do you hear His voice?  Do you hear His voice over the traffic roar? Or do you hear Him in a crowd? Do you hear Him within the confines of your house?  Do you hear Him in good times and bad?

*****

Listening for His voice and “hearing” His words is one which all those of faith subscribe to and wish to acheive during every waking moment we are alive…and eventually through eternity.

*****

He knows His sheep…do we know His voice?  There is a calling of “voices” that can be deceiving, that can appear to be harmless while inviting you to “answer” –when in fact, it might be the false one knocking on your door.

*****

Jesus warns us many times to be aware of “false prophets” and “false teachers” that they will come in sheeps clothing… but are wolves. The enemy seeks to sift us or to devour us should they catch us “unaware.”  But those who “know His voice” and “sup with Him” will not and cannot be fooled.  Those who converse and have an intimate relationship with HIm will not be in danger of opening the “door” to that which doesn’t align with God’s word…or will.

*****

The overall santification of being a follower is clearly apparent when the Lord “opens eyes” for us to see.  His voice is unique and stands out, because the Lord “opens ears” for us to hear.  It is by His grace and thereby His will that grants the gift of “knowing, seeing and hearing.”  It is the “desire” He places within our hearts to grasp, embrace, and surrender to His will.  It is the ultimate trust and ability to ascertain within seconds with a “discerning spirit” in which He presents to us, if something is wrong…or not of God.

*****

His word and His gifts of love, grace and unmerited favor grants us peace and substantial rewards. To sup with Him and to know His voice is a vitally important and crucial to our well-being.  Our weapons of defense in spiritural warfare would be our gospel armor and His word.  The sword (the word)  which cuts both ways.

*****

God’s word and His unconditional love and protection. How amazing is our God?

Ssh…Listen.

He’s knocking…do you hear His beautiful and glorious voice?
