Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. Ezekiel 36:25 KJV
Keys of life, living water, never thirst again…all familiar terms with the average Christian. God’s wisdom, infinite and pure, beyond all scope of understanding.
Sovereign God. The Sovereignty of an infinite God and the humility of a finite individual. God is infinite. We can only aspire to be all that He calls us to be, and pray it’s making our Lord happy.
We must be wise today. We must be diligent in all that transpires in a world growing uglier by the minute. As Jesus states in Matthew 10:16… “Be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” The words from our Messiah still pertain, and always will. The word will not lie. The word is infallible. What does that mean today? Participate, grow in His word, be watchful.
We cannot just sit in church, clap hands, sing…we must go beyond the Sunday appearances, and apply all that we know every chance we can. Don’t wait to be fed, provide the food in which we have acquired through His word, and learn to cook! When we mature we’re ready to do what God calls us to do. Each of us has a part in this world, a reason for being here. When we hear His voice we are ready to walk the walk in which He has prepared for us…according to His will.
God calls all people to do His will. It doesn’t matter the background, the education, the color, the size, the height or gender. He uses everyone. For examples: Moses was a “murderer” when he ran away. He fled into the desert to escape the punishment from such actions. Yet, He was called by God to free His people and lead them across the desert. He became one of the most memorable people in the Bible, a righteous man, the law-giver. God made Balaam’s donkey speak. He used Rahab, according to “man” she was called a harlot…but God used her for His purposes. He qualifies people, cleanses them…and makes them acording to His needs, when He needs them.
We’re His trophy so to speak…he wants to take us back to showcase us, and say “Good job my faithful servant and child, good job.” Be active, have compassion. Compassion causes us to move and act…the Holy Spirt is compassionate, loving…and guides us giving us conviction. We need to go forward in His light.
Is there anything too hard for God? Is there anything God cannot do? God is Sovereign. It doesn’t matter what the doctor says, what an attorney says, what the teacher says…nothing matters, because God is in control and can change it all. If it’s His will, so it will be.
Jesus came to serve, not to be served. Serve the Father, if it was good enough for Jesus, how can we not follow accordingly?
Where will we be when we’re called home? Will we be part of God’s trophy case?
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation: but is passed from death unto life. (John 5:24 KJV)
