Dear God: You Do It All~

“But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause- Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number. He gives rain on the earth, And, sends waters on the fields. He sets on high those who are lowly, And, those who mourn are lifted to safety…” Job 5:8-11 NKJV

James 5:13  Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms.

While walking into a store I was lost in thought about God and His wonders that never cease to amaze me.  Just walking into the grocery store I was in awe of our great Father. Just the idea that He knows us so well, and realizes what we need before we do is awesome in itself.  “In my distress I called on the LORD, and cried to my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.” Psalm 18:6

This post is just to exalt Him.  He is a treasure and a rock and a Comforter to all who seek Him. He is a versatile and loving God that meets our needs on a daily basis.

It is difficult to place words into a post that would describe our God.  He is so many things to so many people. People of different origins and from remote places of the world.  We all have our way of describing Him, or an attempt at least. The description of Him isn’t near complete as the “feeling of Him.”  The one that sits deep within our persona, the one placed there by His holy hands.

Looking at the bird in the picture in this post, I was smiling. I was called to mind of Jesus’ words in Matthew about “birds of the air” and how the Father feeds them, and cares for them. He made them.  This little creature with feathers.  Feathers, even that is amazing is it not?  The way that the Lord set up nature and birds.  In some species the colors and markings of the males can have a direct impact on how attractive it is to the female, or his mating success.  Or the male duck looks for clues to a females value as a mate by evaluating the coloration of her feathers.  Clever, ingenious…and all designed by our Father.  Who made all things, big and small.  Each one with a specific function, a purpose a reason for its existence.

So, getting back to the “human species.” We are all made by His hands.  He, our creator. Our brains, the heart, the liver, the spleen, each with a specific purpose. All doing its job of functionality.  All created by Him…the Sovereign and true God. The oustanding and brilliant Father.  Our Adonai, our Elohim, our everything.

Our emotions, our expressions, our thoughts our desires are unique in and of itself, but the “wiring” or blueprints, as it were…made by God.  So, while shopping I was looking at people, items, and thinking about how magnificent life is because of Him.  Life…because of His light and His love.

So, we may be on an upswing today. Possibly a downswing tomorrow, but God is the same always. His promises, His love and His presence a steady and powerful one.  He is the same today and always.

Man may let you down, God NEVER will.  He will always be there….Always

We just need to “drop to our knees” and give Him thanks, praise and honor. He is worthy to be loved, and worthy to be praised. Just look around, and peek at the sky, the ocean, the birds overhead, the cat crossing the street…or your pooch in your arms this very moment.  All created by Him.  Perfect, unique…and all in His care.

So as you look around today…look up and shout,

“Thank you Lord.”  Amen~

Psalm 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes the sons of men; his eyes examine them.

Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

Psalm 66:19 But God has surely listened and heard my voice in prayer  .

1 Peter 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
