Dear God: With Supplication & Joy I Bow To You~

God is the creator of beauty and all things...and all things are made beautiful by His righteous hands~

I love you God…You are my King of Kings, and my Abba Father~

I bow in joy and supplication to God in all things.  In every way I acknowledge Him, and live to please Him in my daily activities of life.  For life is life, because of Him.

God has an incredible way of fastening His word to the very core of our existence. And, for those of us that want to hear and see it is powerfully addictive!  His essence runs through our bodies with ease and washes over us with glad tidings. He fully awakens our senses to capacities of which we have never known.

Each day is a fresh gift from God as we rise in the morning.  We are aware we have another day to serve Him, and another day in which to honor Him.  Another day in which to glorify Him through actions, through praise, and through our works.

Works?  What pray tell is that some of us will wonder.  We may over exaggerate our need to quench the desire to meet God’s expectations of us as His children. We may overload our wagon with so much that we get “weighed down” in our search for His face and His kingdom.  We may push ourselves into a perfunctory oblivion of “must do this” and “must do that” in order to be accpeted by God.  NOT SO!

God is pure and sweet as honey.  His love and acceptance is deep and fulfilling.  It’s like a cool breeze on a hot day.  It’s like a splash or spray of ocean water while we sit in the sun basking in the warmth of His glory.  It’s easy to be loved by God….and even easier loving Him.  It’s not a ritualistic task to love Him.  It’s like breathing…to love God is effortless because of His unconditional love.  His hands are always around us and He will guide us as we go forward in His name.

Our acts/works can be many things to many people.  It can be calling someone who is a shut-in and listening while encouraging them.  It can be reaching out to someone and letting them know they’re loved.  It can be taking care of your pets, your family, your friends.  It can be sending love and support to orphans, the elderly…or forgiving yourself for something you may have done so long ago.  God has already forgiven you…so move on.

God clearly states, “to receive one of these children in my name is to receive me” – so all acts of kindness, no matter how benign or extreme they may be…it’s all the same to the Lord.  It’s pleasing to Him and demonstrates that we are accepting Him as we do these things. Our rewards lie in heaven.  Our tasks on earth are setting up the clothes in which we will be “arrayed in” upon reaching heaven.

Truth, is a powerful weapon.  For truth is the very essence of Christ.  Love is powerful, it will tame the wildest beast.  Truth and love are cohesive and represent the strongest attributes of the Lord.  So many come to mind, but truth and love are the core of Christ and His good news.  He led His life by example, He was kind, good, loving and forgiving…He is our friend and Savior. And, so many other things…the list is endless.  The love is unlimited, and the desire overwhelming.

In so choosing Christ, we are a new creation.  We are recognized as Christians.  All things we do, we should do in acknowledgement of Him always.  We should go to Him in prayer, and supplication…and prostrate ourselves as we give Him thanks and glory.  We should go to Him in joyful recognition, and in seeking the boundless truth and love that He offers continuously.

His hands created all good things, and all good things are created by Him.  Have you thanked Him today? Have you told Him “I love you Father?”

Love Him fully, openly and privately…you can be sure, He loves you…

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17 NKJV

So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clotheyou, O you of little faith? 1 Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.     Matthew 6:28-34 NKJV
