Dear God: Your Light & Hands Are Full of Grace~

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning." James 1:17 NKJV

God and His Word are sweet, so very sweet and nourishing.  Yes, His word flows over the buds of my mind…and entices my senses with each nuance and message that is LOVE.

So many people are suffering, or going through trials, and although I’ve recently posted on this subject…the Lord placed it within my heart so obviously He wants it to be repeated.  And, so…I’m His obidient servant, and repeat it I shall.

1 Peter 1:7 states, “that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus christ.”   That in itself is reasuring.  All of us, no matter the age or circumstances all go through trials and fires.  The purifying process is precise and part of a closer union with Christ.

It is important to remember that God will NOT give us more than we can handle. Some people flinch at that comment, those who are not understanding…and those who are thinking with the carnal mind. Only when one is able to ascertain the meaning and depth of His words, and the full meaning of salvation,  it is then and only then  that they will be able to experience the fulfilling peace that engulfs ones soul.  The certainty of the immeasurable love that flows from God is so beautiful, it is hard to describe.

When we walk in the light, and show others our light it is then that our behavior comes credible to all those we come into contact with.  When we fasten our minds up with the truth of the power of God, that is operating from within…we are setting examples and praising God in the best way we can. How is that?  By walking in His ways, setting the footwork and producing fruit in His honor and in His glory.

God shows His children unmerited favor…that Lord always forgives even if we don’t deserve it. But, when we have a true repentant heart, and we ask for His forgivenss, He will forgive.  That is so important to express, because if one person reading this now…is going through some kind of anguish, or feeling guilt, God loves you.  He forgives you.  God will never condemn or bring shame to your cheeks.  He wants your love.

His light is the greatest gift of all.  His sturdy arms is our strength and His words are defense to all of the impurities in the world.  So, while we are walking through a valley, or a fire…hang on, He will bring you out of it.  He will uphold you with His righteous hand.  He will protect you, guide you, keep you upright and push you forward.  Trust in Him, lean on Him, acknowledge Him…LOVE HIM.  That is the primary principles of loving Him.  And He should be loved with the all of our might, mind, body and soul.  He is our Creator, our Father and our Beloved.

So, walk in the light…look up for answers to everything and anything.  And give Him all honor and praise always,  no matter what you are going through.  He sees your heart, and He is cleansing and preparing you, doing an inner working, polishing and cleaning us, bringing us closer to His path each moment.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.  Psalm 57:7-11 KJV

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.  Psalm 3:5-8 KJV

For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.  Ecclesiastes  9:4 KJV
